The challenge
Ballet Anna Pavlova needed to update its long-standing identity to better connect with today’s dancers and audiences. The challenge was to modernise the brand while respecting its heritage, ensuring the academy remained both recognisable and relevant after decades of tradition.
The approach
We evolved the academy’s name from “Ballet Anna Pavlova” to the “BAP” and refreshed the visual identity, preserving the founder’s ballerina illustration by turning it into a silhouette. The new branding creates a thoughtful balance between tradition and modernity, and fosters a welcoming look while still honouring BAP’s roots.
The result
BAP’s updated identity resonates with both loyal families and new students, maintaining its reputation for excellence while feeling fresh and inclusive. The brand now reflects the academy’s commitment to nurturing young dancers and inspiring self-expression, ensuring its legacy continues for generations to come.

"Nicole's presence proceeds her so something told me it would be a great fit, and it was.
I feel like the brand keeps telling the story of over 20 years of openness and experience, whilst aligning with current trends and needs. I love that the new brand is very clean and classy, and that she left us with a clear step by step to hand our graphic designer and community manager. Highly recommended."
