The challenge

The founder, Vanessa, wanted The Kitchen Yoga to stand out from traditional and trend-driven yoga studios by offering a truly multisensory experience. She needed a brand identity that reflected the creativity and human touch of her approach, where movement, mindfulness, sound and even scent work together to make every class have a bigger impact on the attendee.

The approach

We created a brand that fuses playful nostalgia with editorial-inspired type and imagery, balancing bold and soft visuals. A key challenge was blending the playful spirit of a kitchen with the elegance needed for an elevated, gentle experience. Working closely with Vanessa, we brought her vision for a sensory, holistic yoga space into every detail, so the brand feels as inviting and layered as the classes themselves, never too punchy or intense.

The result

The new identity feels creative, welcoming and unique in the Zurich yoga space. Vanessa described it as “the most powerful creative project experience” she’s had in years, and the brand has been praised for its creativity, clarity and attention to detail. Since launching, The Kitchen Yoga has welcomed over 150 people, with the brand’s sensory approach making a lasting impression on the community.

"This has been the most powerful creative project experience I’ve had in the past 5 years.

Others also tell me that it is something they have never seen a yoga studio brand look like before - outstandingly creative but still clear and appealing to the masses. Like one could really sense the thought process and attention to detail!

Working with such an understanding, reliable and charismatic designer was a great pleasure - thanks a lot!"
